Join Our Dedicated Fundraising Team!Are you an organised, creative and proactive person with an attention to detail, who enjoys interacting with people and making a genuine impact? Weston Hospicecare is looking for a Lottery Fundraiser to help grow our weekly lottery — a vital and sustainable source of income that directly supports local patients and families.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing our lottery programme, supporting our canvassers, and delivering excellent donor stewardship. You'll join a friendly, passionate Fundraising Team who are committed to raising the funds needed to provide outstanding hospice care to the community.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding positive relationships with lottery players – provide a warm welcome for new lottery players and communicate with existing ones to support fundraising efforts.Organise community venues for canvassing – Book and coordinate space in community venues and at events for canvassing activity.Promote the lottery – Collaborate with our Communications Team to create engaging promotional materials for the Lottery.Represent the hospice in the community – Promote the work of Weston Hospicecare through excellent donor care and positive interaction with suppliers.What We're Looking ForExperience in fundraising or building relationships with donors/customersConfident using IT systems, databases and Microsoft OfficeExperience of communicating with a wide range of audiencesA proactive, collaborative, team-oriented approachStrong attention to detail and data accuracyUnderstanding of GDPR and data protection principles.A full driving licence or ability to travel across our catchment area is desirable.Why Join Us?Make a real impact by supporting a charity that helps local familiesTraining and development opportunities to grow your skillsA friendly, supportive team with a shared passion for fundraisingFlexibility, including time off in lieu for evening and weekend workWe warmly welcome applications from all sections of the community.Join us and help make a difference!
