Vacancies Community Senior Support Worker (Internal Only)
Role Summary
We are looking for an AHP Support Worker (HCSW) to deliver high‑standard care in the community, supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of patients, providing personal care, and promoting nutrition as part of their journey to better health. This role offers the chance to learn and develop a career with the Royal Devon while working within a dynamic NHS Trust.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients, including personal care and nutritional support.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and assistant practitioners to provide patient‑centred care.
* Support patients within both the UCR team and the community rehabilitation team across the Exeter South & West cluster.
* Deliver care in the community between 8 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week, with shift patterns as required.
* Work a 34‑hour week and may receive additional pay enhancements based on shift pattern and hours.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience in a health and social care setting (ideal).
* Highly motivated and adaptable to service needs and pressures.
* Availability to work within the specified shift patterns and hour range.
* Access to a suitable vehicle is essential for the role.
Working Pattern
34 hours per week. The team supports patients in the community between the hours of 8 am–8 pm, 7 days a week. Staff work a range of shift patterns within these times.
