The School
The York Business School is an ambitious and growing academic unit with Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) and Work Related Experiential Learning embedded in our teaching. Our burgeoning national and international research profile, excellent teaching and learning, and welcoming and inclusive ethos supports an exceptional personalised student experience. Our School offers a number of undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees.
The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to contribute to our vibrant undergraduate offers in Economics. The majority of your work will involve teaching in a variety of settings, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures, assessment, and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students. The successful candidate will also be supported in developing a solid research profile.
Key requirements
Candidates will have expertise in teaching an area of Economics at undergraduate level, an interest in Environmental Economics, Experimental Economics or similar is welcome. The successful candidate will be supported in cultivating an outstanding research profile in Economics or Finance. It is essential that candidates hold a doctoral level qualification or are near completion (viva passed with minor corrections).
