What the Job Involves The role involves working in partnership with children and families to address their social, emotional, and environmental needs. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Worcestershire. You will assess risks, coordinate services, and create multi-agency plans to achieve the best outcomes. Main activities include gathering and analyzing information, fulfilling statutory requirements, potentially representing the Authority in court, attending meetings, and maintaining accurate records. Your role also includes participating in supervision and continued professional development, as well as occasional duty tasks such as attending meetings or making phone calls. The role primarily covers Evesham and South Worcestershire, with possible travel to other areas.
