As the Partnership Manager, you will report to the ViiV Healthcare UK Market Access Director and play a critical role within the Market Access and Multi‑Skilled Teams in ViiV UK. You will be an experienced customer‑focused project manager and problem solver, responsible for identifying opportunities, designing and developing offerings in partnership with our customers in order to enhance patient care and implement ViiV’s strategic priorities in the field.
You will work closely with the Partnership Access Manager in the Commercial Field team and the Pathways and Patient Affairs Manager in the Medical team to ensure those who need long‑acting injectable HIV treatment or prevention are able to access across the UK. You will liaise with relevant budgetary decision makers and healthcare professionals to partner with agencies required to support implementation of long‑acting injectables.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor environmental trends to understand the needs of the NHS and people living with HIV or people who would benefit from HIV prevention
* Identify new opportunities to enhance patient care within HIV considering digital, logistical and capacity solutions
* Create and lead the development of innovative solutions to enhance patient care and patient pathways
* Work with Multi‑Skilled Teams across the UK, to explore opportunities for utilisation of innovative approaches with key stakeholder groups or key accounts
* Manage the design and development of projects and services, with strong project management and compliance with all ABPI and governance requirements
* Work closely with the Partnership Access Manager to support the agile implementation of partnership offerings and ongoing delivery once implemented
* Gather field insights and ensure partnership solutions remain fit for purpose
* Proactively contribute to the broader UK ViiV culture and business strategies
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in market access, service redesign, partnerships, or NHS collaborations, with involvement in service provision
* Strong understanding of NHS operational models including commissioning, clinic capacity dynamics, and patient pathway constraints
* Excellent project management skills, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills with high sense of responsibility and accountability
* Strong communication and influencing skills, both internal and external, ideally including demonstrated ability to develop and mobilise key stakeholders to influence decisions, and remove barriers
* Strong understanding of the ABPI code and PMCPA guidance on partnerships and package deals
Preferred Qualifications
* Evidence of developing and implementing successful complex business plans; commercial foresight and planning skills
* Evidence and understanding of how national and local NHS drivers influence local healthcare priorities
* Experience with PSPs, nurse services, or service redesign interventions
* Background working with access roles or pathway implementation teams
* Ability to translate system needs into workable partnership solutions
