The Role As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of electrical building services designs across all stages of a project lifecyclefrom concept through to completion.
You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant design solutions.
This role offers the chance to contribute to technically challenging projects while developing your expertise in modern design tools, sustainable engineering practices, and emerging technologies within the Building Services sector.
Key Responsibilities Design and specification of electrical building services systems including: Power distribution systems (LV design) Lighting design (including emergency lighting) Fire alarm and life safety systems Data/communications and security systems Produce detailed calculations, reports, and technical specifications Develop electrical designs from concept through to detailed design and construction stages Prepare and review drawings using AutoCAD and contribute to BIM models using Revit Attend and actively contribute to client, design team, and site meetings Carry out site inspections and monitor installation works to ensure compliance with design intent Coordinate with mechanical, public health, and other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practice (e.g.
