Banqueting/event staff will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service during events, ensuring guest satisfaction with attentive service and the efficient setup and breakdown of banquet rooms. They will handle a variety of tasks, including greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining cleanliness and the organisation of the banquet area.
Responsibilities
* Customer care.
* Product knowledge, menus, locality, hotel facilities.
* Service of food & beverages.
* Serving at functions, buffets, carvery, tray service, afternoon teas & grill bar, breakfast service, Kove Restaurant (according to business requirements).
* Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
* Preparing for service and cleaning after service.
Skills and Qualifications
* No experience required as full on-the-job training will be given.
* Previous experience of hotel work.
* Health & safety at work certificate.
* Food hygiene certificate.
* Welcome to excellence certificate.
* NVQ level 2 Food & Beverage Service.
