Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio
2. HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
3. Member of RCOT
4. Involvement in RCOT Special Interest Group
5. Completion of in-house: Leadership & motivation Managing performance Time management Appraisals skills
Experience
Essential criteria
6. Experience of a range of rotations including medicine, orthopaedic, older people & rehabilitation.
7. Experience of discharge planning
8. experience as a Band 5 in the NHS.
Desirable criteria
9. Involvement in audit, research & understanding of quality issues.
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential criteria
10. Contribution to the clinical education of less experienced staff, students or assistants.
11. Up- to-date with professional practice and new research
12. Able to present information, written and verbal, in a clear & logical manner.
13. Ability to organise, prioritise & delegate
14. Understanding of clinical governance & its implications
15. Able to carry out moderate to intense physical effort
