Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Power Field Service Engineer based in our Doncaster depot. As a Power Field Service Engineer, you will maintain and repair Aggreko’s power and temperature control fleet, delivering safe, reliable solutions at customer sites.
*For all field roles – offshore work is required so individual must be trained or willing to be trained.

What you’ll do as a Power Field Service Engineer:
1. Provide expert servicing and maintenance of diesel generators, taking pride in technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and site safety.
2. Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns using strong mechanical and basic electrical fault-finding skills, keeping critical power systems running when customers need them most.
3. Support with hands-on installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of diesel-driven generators and power products at customer sites, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality delivery every time.
4. Support with delivery of generator applications including motor starting, variable voltage, and load testing using Sigma PC software and fleet load banks.
5. Carry out low-voltage electrical work including switching, isolation, maintenance, and commissioning (<1500V DC / <1000V AC) in line with industry standards.
You are:
6. Technically confident engineer with strong capability in power generation (and ideally temperature control), backed by a City & Guilds / ONC Level 3 qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering.
7. Experienced with generator control systems such as Deep Sea, Dief and similar platforms, with the ability to fault‑find and perform under pressure.
8. Highly organised and professional, with excellent communication skills, strong PC literacy (including MS Office), and a commitment to keeping vehicles and equipment to GSCS standards.
9. Customer‑focused and resilient, able to manage client expectations calmly and effectively, even during breakdowns, emergencies, or challenging site conditions.
10. Flexible and dependable team player, holding a full clean driving licence, willing to work out of hours and take part in an on‑call rota when required.
