Location: West Midlands (Hybrid working - 8 days a month onsite)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Communicate with external stakeholders on research matters and advice
2. Ensure the visibility of the organisation’s research programme, and the understanding of its findings to external stakeholders and consumers through the internet research area, media material, conferences, and meetings
3. Agree on publication of research findings with the relevant Policy Manager
4. Work with the PR team to respond to media inquiries related to research
5. Assist in developing business cases to support projects
6. Specify and scope research, reflecting the needs of internal and external stakeholders
7. Liaise with the Procurement Manager when awarding contracts
8. Manage the use of omnibus surveys to respond to emerging issues and gain customer insights in a timely manner
9. Guide the Executive Team and Board on new research requirements, potential issues, and challenge the organisation to maintain its evidence-based approach
10. Ensure all projects comply with the organisation’s policies on sustainability and the MRS Code of Conduct
Ideal Requirements:
* Recent experience in customer research and various research techniques
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to interpret statistical research findings
