About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 within a welcoming Brent primary school. This position focuses on working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring they receive the tailored support and encouragement necessary to thrive both academically and personally. Key Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs. • Assist teachers in delivering personalised strategies that foster engagement and progress. • Build positive and trusting relationships to help pupils develop confidence and resilience. • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued. • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support holistic development.
