An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Sutherland Health and Social Care Team. We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual who will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain their independence. The post holder needs to be flexible and able to use their own initiative. The post-holder will provide high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality service to the local community.
Responsibilities
* Provide support and assistance to service users in their homes to maximise and maintain independence.
* Deliver high standards of patient care as part of the multidisciplinary team.
* Exercise flexibility and initiative in responding to care needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience not required, although beneficial.
* Full training will be provided, with opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
* Driving licence is essential; applicants must have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
Working Hours
This is a part-time post of 17.27 hours per week, working 5.00am to 10.00pm, 4 days on, 4 days off, or in line with service requirements covering the Helmsdale area.
Immigration Status
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
