Project Manager
We are looking for a project manager (full-time) to support a new international research consortium led by Dr Yixian Sun on multi-level governance for forest-risk commodities in key consumer and producer countries (AnDforFRCs).
About the Role
This innovative project is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s Forest Governance, Market and Climate Programme (FGMC). Partner institutions include Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), University of Victoria (Canada), University of British Columbia (Canada), University of Freiburg (Germany), University of International Business and Economics (China), and National University of Singapore (Singapore).
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who are highly collaborative with strong communication skills and experiences of managing complex international research projects.
* Hold an undergraduate degree (or above) in a relevant social science subject area such as International Relations, Political Science, Environmental Studies, and Public Policy.
* Offer excellent problem-solving and project management skills
* Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a range of audiences and stakeholders
* Have experiences of working in a multi-culture environment and managing international collaborative project
* Have experiences of managing websites and social media
* Be self-motivated
Additional Information
As a member of the Staff at the University of Bath, you will be encouraged and expected to take up to a minimum of 10 days professional development pro rata per year.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) to start as soon as possible. The contract will end in March 2027, but can be renewed subject to funding availability.
