You will inherit a customer base of c100 garden trade customers including key independents and the branches of groups. Home based you will plan each day to make effective customer visits. Provide a full account management service business reviews, new product presentations, merchandising, store set ups etc. Actively target new customer wins. Update the CRM daily with orders and notes from meetings. Actively engage with the wider sales team, sharing information and best practice. Key Skills/Experience Required: A key successful factor in this role is knowledge of how garden centres work and what is expected from suppliers. Consequently we are looking for: Experience of the garden centre trade from retail, merchandising of field sales. Home based in Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside or Lancashire. High standards of professionalism in personal presentation and communication. Good standard of IT literacy. Self motivated, well organised and keen to learn.
