Main responsibilities:
1. The head of DGBU agile & scrum COE is a senior practicing leader. Beyond his/her responsibilities as head of the agile & Scrum COE team, he/she will be assigned to the most critical program for DGBU, namely the US commercial foundations program, which is a multiyear program.
2. Being able to demonstrate what great looks like on the most critical program is a key success factor for the DGBU team as well as a strong embodiment of Sanofi culture to take the lead.
As a head of agile & Scrum COE for DGBU
3. Building a strong & agile pool of Scrum expertise with a focus on community as a core of the CoE
4. Expertise coaching + ensure continued development of Scrum & career pathing, acting as a mentor for the scrum masters
5. Agile coaching within DGBU, leveraging the help of Sanofi Agile COE, in the spirit of fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enhancing collaboration to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
6. Efficient allocation of Scrum Masters to the PLs via very strong, very clear prioritization mechanism
7. Resource allocation based on impact with an agreement of relevant PL owners
8. Customer Satisfaction: work with Product Owner / Product Line Owner to gather feedback, understand pain points, & enhance customer satisfaction, run regular retrospective at POD level with POD health quarterly reports & mitigation plan.
9. Agile transformation & Maturity assessment: Define trajectory of agile transformation for Digital GBUs including maturity assessment for PODs and related recommendations. Implementation through Scrum COE in partnership with Product owner, GTMC & Business stakeholders.
10. Continuous improvement:Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement changes iteratively.
11. Design Thinking: apply design thinking principles to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for service improvement
12. Value Driven: Champion team discussion of value driven prioritization for the benefit of users and stakeholders, with respect to high quality product delivery.
13. Process Excellence: identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation within the service operations, capitalize learning within playbook
14. Data-Driven Insights: utilize data & analytics to generate insights into service performance, trends, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make decisions and influence strategic initiatives.
15. Performance Measurement: define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of Scrum activities and POD health
16. Trend Analysis: keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in service design and innovation + translate these insights into actionable strategies to maintain our competitive edge
As a practicing lead, Program manager for mission critical programs
17. Strategic Planning: Establish program objectives in conjunction with GBU sponsors, GTMC partners and digital stakeholders, responsible for governance set up and meeting cadence, including agenda & steerco preparation in conjunction will all parties.
18. Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate interdependencies to ensure they benefit one another and meet overall business objectives – identify critical path & sequence. As head of Agile & Scrum COE, he/She is the best advocate of agile practices.
19. Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates and manage expectations, in conjunction with stakeholders
20. Resource Allocation: support resources allocation effectively, including personnel and budget, to support program activities in conjunction with Product Line Owners.
21. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
22. Performance Monitoring: Track program metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
23. Support team fit for purpose: leverage Scrum COE and Strategy & ops team as needed to ensure overall success of the mission critical program

24. You will be a member for Global Extended Digital GBU Leadership Team.
25. As program manager for US commercial foundation, you need to have enough technical depth in the field of Data management and/or analytics to be able to engage with product lines and identifyinterdependencies.
26. You will foster partnerships and close collaboration between cross-functional teams (GBU Brand teams, Digital product lines, GTMC, market teams) and drive structured ways of working between teams to provide maximum value and efficiency to business teams.
27. You will work with the central agile COE to foster best practices and build best in class Scrum team & practices
28. You will strategically position and elevate the role of scrum in the Digital GBU org as well as socialize the culture of product within the organization
29. You will work closely and constructively with other development teams e.g., Accelerator, Web-teams, whether inside or outside the company.
30. You will empower your teams to set up lean but effective teams and efficient local governance.
31. You will build and develop a team that uses complementary strengths and develop dedicated personal development plan
About You

32. A minimum of 15 years of professional experience and 5+ years people management & leadership experience in diverse markets
33. Solid industry background and understanding of agile & service excellence
34. Seasoned leader with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
35. Technical literacy in data management and / or data analytics.
36. Proven record of creating and implementing successful digital business strategies.
37. Very strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
38. Very strong project management and execution skills
39. Ability to cultivate effective relationships, and to influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.

Education:
52. Advanced Scientific, Business or Engineering Degree, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline is required.

The salary range for this position is:
$210,000.00 - $303,333.33
