Annual salary up to £33,667.00.Contract: Full‑time, Permanent, 42.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, starting 1 July 2026.
Location
Evesham, with opportunities across South Worcestershire, North Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.
About the Role
You will perform domestic plastering work in residents’ homes, ensuring a clean and respectful environment while maintaining professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive plastering repairs in occupied properties
- Complete patch repairs to walls and ceilings following leaks, electrical work or other trades
- Prepare surfaces and apply plaster, bonding, boarding, rendering and skimming
- Repair damaged walls and ceilings, including full re‑plastering where required
- Apply full skims to walls and ceilings where needed
- Make good around door frames, windows, sockets and pipework
- Ensure surfaces are smooth and durable for final finish
- Mix and apply plaster using appropriate tools and techniques
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, protecting residents’ belongings and flooring
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Record job details, material usage and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets
- Work respectfully in residents’ homes, maintaining a professional and courteous manner
- Identify and report additional works, safeguarding concerns or property issues
- Participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency rota when required
- Provide high levels of customer care at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in domestic plastering and maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills, with experience in occupied homes
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
- Ability to use handheld devices or job management systems to record work
- Willingness to participate in out‑of‑hours emergency rota

Employment Eligibility
- Candidates must be entitled to work within the UK; visa sponsorship is not offered.
- To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be aged over 21, have held a licence for at least 3 months and have less than 9 points.
