Workshop Technician
Location: Wickford, Essex
Salary: £41,000 + Quarterly Bonus
Neos Engineering are partnered with a leading UK provider of repair, maintenance, and fleet management services supporting major national infrastructure clients. Due to continued growth and new contract wins, theyre seeking a Workshop Technician to join their expanding team in Essex.
The Role
Youll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Working within a well-equipped workshop, youll:
* Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
* Communicate repair needs with the admin team and customers.
* Service and replace key components including brakes, filters, suspension, and clutches.
* Fit and install vehicle accessories such as cameras, sensors, and towbars.
* Carry out safety checks, road tests, and quality inspections.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment, occasionally supporting off-site work.
The Candidate
The ideal applicant will be a skilled and motivated technician with a strong eye for detail and a customer-focused attitude. Youll ideally possess:
* IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience).
* A hands-on, proactive approach to servicing and repair work.
* Your own basic tool kit (specialist tools provided).
* A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
The Benefits
£41,000 salary plus quarterly performance bonus:
* £500 per person per quarter when targets are met.
* £750 per person per quarter for exceeding targets.
* £1,000 per person per quarter for stretch performance.
