We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our Senior Kitchen team and help lead the team in delivering a high standard of food.

Responsibilities
* Guiding and supporting the Kitchen team, ensuring they have the skills required to deliver an excellent standard of food
* A hands‑on approach, supporting the Head Chef in the day‑day running of the Kitchen
* Planning menus within cost targets
* Controlling food costs and achieving gross profit targets (including monitoring waste)
* Ensuring processes are in place to achieve high standards of cleanliness, consistently
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements

Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven track record as a Sous chef within a quality hotel
* Ability to lead and effectively supervise the kitchen team
* High standards of hygiene and Health & Safety controls
* Knowledge of computerised ordering system
* Enthusiastic and motivated with an eye for detail and accuracy
* Calm under pressure while maintaining an assertive but professional manner
* The ability to work 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis, weekend work is included
