Job Overview:
We're seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Design Executive. In this role, you'll be responsible for translating marketing strategies into compelling designs across various platforms, ensuring brand consistency and maximising user engagement.
Following the implementation of design assets, you'll proactively analyse their performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement to enhance visual impact and achieve marketing objectives.
A key aspect of this role involves cultivating strong relationships within a dedicated client portfolio, understanding their unique brand identities and visual communication needs, and delivering creative solutions that drive client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Output & Execution:
* Create high-quality, engaging, and visually consistent design concepts and assets for a variety of different channels (including websites, social media ads and email campaigns) ensuring they align with brand guidelines and client needs.
* Implement design solutions in line with the client's visual identity. You'll also proactively identify opportunities to enhance visual impact and continuously improve designs.
* Monitor the visual impact of your designs, providing clear feedback on their effectiveness and demonstrating the value of your creative output to clients.
Client Communication & Relationship Management:
* Act as the main point of contact for clients for design-related queries, building strong relationships and understanding their visual needs and brand identity to deliver effective design solutions.
* Proactively share design concepts, project timelines, and performance results with clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing feedback promptly.
* Gather client feedback on design effectiveness to inform future strategies and continuously improve visual communication outcomes.
Design Strategy & Innovation:
* Help create visual plans and design approaches that fit each client's unique brand and goals.
* Look into new design trends and what competitors are doing to find fresh, creative ideas for clients.
* Use what you learn from clients to help build our overall brand and design guidelines.
Team Collaboration & Professional Development:
* Collaborate with marketing team members and other creatives on projects and campaigns, ensuring design solutions effectively support marketing objectives and client needs.
* Share design knowledge, best practices, and emerging trends within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, software, and technologies to ensure the department's visual output is cutting-edge and effective.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* A strong portfolio showcasing excellent design skills across various digital mediums.
* Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with Figma and Framer would be a bonus.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and rationale to clients.
* A deep understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to maintain brand integrity across all visual assets.
* A results-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering impactful visual solutions and achieving client success.
