We are currently working with a firm who are a leading one stop solution for diesel generator hire, service and parts in the UK.
They have been on an impressive growth journey over the years, starting from a small yard in 1963, to now operating out of five locations across the country, including the UK's largest purpose-built generator depot, with a fleet of over 2,500 generators and the UK’s largest generator transport fleets at over 50 vehicles.
They are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to manage the allocation, movement, and tracking of company assets and equipment. The role involves coordinating with multiple teams to ensure equipment is compliant, maintained, and available when needed, while supporting operational efficiency across multiple sites.
You will be required to track and manage equipment and asset requests through the internal management system and coordinate the movement of assets between depots, offices, and client sites as well as maintaining accurate records of equipment, including serial numbers, service histories, and compliance documentation.
Previous experience in a busy operations role within, logistics, or equipment hire environment will be required to be considered for this role. You will also need to possess strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office; with experience with asset or hire management systems highly advantageous.
