Hometipple started as an online store in 2021.
Two years ago we opened our first physical premises: a wine shop and café in a prominent location in the heart of Walthamstow Village.
After extensive renovations and expansion, completed at the end of last year, we opened our kitchen and restaurant.
hometipple is now a shop, restaurant, bar and online retailer.
Opening hours:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday Thursday: 2pm 11pm
Friday & Saturday: midday 11pm
Sunday: midday 7pm
Our kitchen is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday and lunch Friday to Sunday.
We require a full-time Assistant Manager to help run and manage our vibrant venue.
WSET Level 2 or higher and managerial/ supervisory hospitality experience essential.

Responsibilities include:
Working closely with the General Manager and wider team to offer our dining and shop customers first-rate service and unpretentious, expert knowledge
Sharing full keyholder responsibilities
Helping to prepare for and assist with our ongoing program of online and in-store events, including regular customer tastings and private hires.
Assisting with monthly stock orders and stock takes to ensure appropriate inventory levels
Considering stock ordering and rota management within the wider context of how the business maintains profitability.
Managing and maintaining EHO-compliant documentation.
Assisting with website order fulfilment
Taking part in regular new product tastings with suppliers, both on and off-site.
Helping to write monthly wine lists, tasting note crib sheets for team members and wine pairing suggestions for the menu.
Running staff training sessions
Assisting with rota programming
Assisting with content creation for hometipples social media channels
