Primary School Teacher – Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Location: Local Primary School Contract: Full-Time (Monday–Friday) Agency: Milk Education

Milk Education is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Primary School Teacher for an exciting temp-to-perm role in a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is committed to creating engaging, inclusive, and inspiring learning experiences. With excellent support, ongoing training, and a clear pathway to a permanent contract, this role is ideal for someone looking to develop a long-term teaching career.

About the Role

1. Teaching a primary class (EYFS/KS1/KS2 depending on experience).

2. Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

3. Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing.

4. Working closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and the wider school team.

5. Supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND and additional learning requirements.

6. Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time with additional planning and preparation responsibilities.

7. Temp-to-perm: After 12 successful weeks through Milk Education, the role moves directly to a school contract.

What We’re Looking For

8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

9. Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils.

10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

11. A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education).

12. Commitment to delivering inclusive teaching and supporting children of all abilities.

13. Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to make a positive impact in a primary setting.
