Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hythe, Kent (you will need to drive and have your own transport)
Salary: up to £30,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm (potential to change to Monday to Friday 8-4 from the New Year)

You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our clients manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Free fruit on ThursdaysKey responsibilities within your new role would be to:
Carry out basic preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections and servicing of machinery to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.
Assist in the installation of new equipment, as well as refurbishments and modifications of existing systems.
Ensure all maintenance work adheres to health and safety standards and procedures.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues to ensure continuous operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections and equipment history.
Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements that enhance equipment reliability and performance.Experience and skills required for this position:
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions under pressure.
Hands-on and proactive approach to tasks.
Proven ability to carry out repair works effectively.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential shifts, to meet the needs of the business.Next steps:
