We are seeking a passionate and energetic part-time Graduate Sports Coach to join our dynamic PE Department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a future career in teaching, coaching, or youth development. As a Graduate Sports Coach, you will play a key role in supporting physical education, competitive sport, and the wider life of the school, from Early Years through to Sixth Form (ages 4-18). What the Role Involves: • PE and Games Support: Assist teachers in the delivery of high-quality PE and Games lessons across a wide age and ability range. You may work with small groups or individual pupils to offer targeted support or stretch and challenge. • Co-Curricular Sport: Take a proactive role in the extensive extracurricular programme, including after-school clubs, team practices, and inter-house competitions. You’ll help coach and accompany teams in sports such as rugby, netball, hockey, football, cricket, athletics, and more, depending on your specialism. • Fixtures and Competitions: Help plan, organise and attend school fixtures and tournaments, often including travel to local, regional, or national competitions. This may involve occasional evening and weekend commitments. • Pastoral and Mentoring Responsibilities: Support pupils' personal development through involvement in form time, school events, trips, or pastoral duties.
