Age UK is seeking a Sunday Shop Supervisor for our Clapham store. The role involves providing quality retail service, managing stock, displaying goods, maintaining shop appearance, maximizing sales and promoting Gift Aid.
Responsibilities include:
* Running the shop on Sundays
* Managing inventory and stock levels
* Displaying and merchandising products
* Maintaining visual standards and cleanliness
* Encouraging customer interaction and upselling
* Promoting Gift Aid and ensuring compliance
Required skills and qualifications:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Literate and numerate
* Effective team player
* Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock (up to 10 kg)
* Basic knowledge of health & safety and fire regulations
* Previous experience managing or working in a retail shop (preferred)
* Flexible approach to working hours
