If so, we have a great opportunity as a Civils Team Leader to join our Sewer Renovations team, which provides a vital service helping to ensure we supply water and provide sewerage services.
What you'll do
As a Civils Team Leader, you will work in a team carrying out repairs on sewer assets to meet quality and customer service standards.
Day to day, you will work on the waste network undertaking repairs and civil reinstatements on sewer pipes, rising mains, and manhole chambers.
You will work in various locations including customers' properties and gardens, highways, and farmers' fields.
You will coach, mentor, and guide operatives within your team and larger teams on a daily basis.
You will work outdoors, facing different challenges each day, providing a vital service to our customers.
Your work will be based around Avonmouth and surrounding areas, with the main depot in Chippenham.
In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a monthly bonus after your probation and have access to a company vehicle.
What you'll need
You should have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to quality work.
Being well-organized, customer-focused, and a team player is essential.
Previous construction industry experience is beneficial, along with experience operating plant machinery such as excavators or dumpers.
A valid UK driving license and proven towing experience are required.
