At Perfect Weddings Abroad, we don’t just plan weddings, we guide couples through one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives. We’re looking for a warm, organised, and people-focused Wedding Experience Planner to join our Concierge Team and help create unforgettable destination wedding experiences.
This is an office-based role where you’ll become an early point of contact for our couples, helping them feel supported, excited, and reassured as they begin planning their special day. You’ll play a key part in shaping their vision, answering questions, coordinating initial arrangements, and preparing them for the seamless handover to their dedicated wedding coordinator.
While the role isn’t face-to-face, you’ll be speaking regularly with couples, suppliers, and overseas coordinators. Confidence, clarity, and a friendly, reassuring manner are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Be a key source of support and guidance for couples at all stages of their wedding planning
* Help couples understand their venue, package, and planning journey, offering clear explanations and reassurance
* Build warm and trusting relationships through regular communication, both via phone and email
* Gather couples’ initial ideas, preferences, and requests, helping shape the foundations of their day
* Coordinate early-stage wedding extras: contacting suppliers, checking availability, confirming arrangements, and keeping everything beautifully organised
* Liaise with overseas venues and in-resort professionals to resolve queries and ensure smooth communication
* Maintain accurate records within our CRM so coordinators have everything they need when the couple progresses to the next stage
* Take ownership of your daily workflows, ensuring couples receive timely, professional, and supportive assistance
* Deliver a positive, calm, and solution-focused experience, even when handling more sensitive or emotional moments
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment that supports each other, shares knowledge, and celebrates successes
What we’re looking for
* A naturally warm, patient, and approachable communicator
* Excellent written and spoken English, with a professional and friendly tone
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple couples, timelines, and requests
* Confidence handling phone calls and written communication with both UK-based couples and overseas teams
* The ability to work independently while still being a strong team player
* A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
* A genuine passion for weddings and the journey couples go through
* Experience in weddings, events, hospitality, or customer-focused roles is a bonus
* An enthusiasm for travel and destination wedding styles is desirable
