This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fresh Produce Quality Controller to take ownership within a fast growing global business, while being part of a close knit and supportive onsite team.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Overseeing product arrivals and despatch, ensuring all products meet customer specifications
* Working closely with Line Leaders and Online QC to maintain quality standards and manage grade outs
* Managing workload in line with daily orders and production priorities
* Monitoring shelf life, customer samples and carrying out quality checks
* Completing all quality, food safety and compliance documentation accurately
* Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards across operations
* Collaborating with the onsite Management team and third party packing partners
* Monitoring productivity at third party operations, providing feedback, training and support
* Providing clear quality feedback to Management teams and Customers
* Investigating product rejections and completing all associated reports

Your Background
* Fresh produce experience is essential
* Proven experience monitoring product quality within a fresh produce environment
* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining standards
* Good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety requirements
* Confident completing documentation and following processes accurately
* Comfortable working under pressure in a fast paced setting
* A proactive, flexible approach with the confidence to use initiative
* Comfortable working within a small team and alongside third party partners
* Basic understanding of stock control systems
* Confident using Microsoft Office, SAP experience beneficial
Languages
* English required
* Spanish or Eastern European languages advantageous
