About the role
As a Solution Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, working closely with Account Managers and Sales teams to identify opportunities, design tailored solutions, and support business growth. You will be involved both in pre-sales activities and in the delivery of consulting projects, helping clients adopt BIM, cloud technologies, and process improvements.
You will lead discovery sessions and workshops with customers to understand their business challenges and translate them into scalable solutions. This includes defining solution architectures that may involve software, training, workflows, and integrations. You will also contribute to proposal development and support sales negotiations with your technical expertise.
Beyond pre-sales, you will oversee the delivery of projects from initial scoping through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met. You will collaborate with internal technical teams and maintain strong communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also play a role in strengthening Graitec’s market positioning by contributing to thought leadership, events, and collaboration with marketing and R&D teams.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a professional with strong experience in BIM and Autodesk AEC solutions, combined with a solid understanding of the construction industry. You should have a proven track record in pre-sales or technical consulting for complex software or SaaS solutions within B2B environments.
Experience in leading discovery workshops, engaging multiple stakeholders, and supporting sales processes is essential. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to balance technical depth and commercial impact.
A background in project delivery, as well as familiarity with cloud solutions and integrations, will be highly valuable. Additional experience with Autodesk SaaS solutions or formal project management qualifications would be considered a plus.

What you must have done already:
* Extensive experience in BIM, Autodesk AEC/ACS or MFG products.
* A good understanding of the construction or manufacturing industry
* Experience of presales of complex software, SaaS, and services solutions to B2B customers in the CAD, AEC or MFG markets.
* Experienced in driving workshops or discovery meetings to support the identification of new business opportunities with existing accounts.
* Demonstrated ability to support multiple stakeholders in a growing, fast-paced environment
What is nice to have done already:
* Experience of selling/supporting Autodesk Solutions
* A recognized project management qualification
