SF Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with a Worcester based business in the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant.
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team. The role will be key to support the finance team in producing accurate quarterly management reporting.
Job responsibilities will include:
Monthly cost reporting and analysis
Assist with the quarter end management accounts reporting any anomalies
Posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
Weekly bank reconciliation and postings
Credit card reconciliation and postings
Reviewing and processing employee expenses
Preparation of monthly VAT returns
Sales reconciliation and reporting
Assisting with processing invoices when required
Ensuring integrity of sales and purchase ledger
Assist with preparation of relevant information and collation of appropriate supporting evidence for the external audit
Ideally, for the role of Assistant Management Accountant you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:
Have at least 12 months previous experience within a similar role
Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA
Be competent with excel (experience of working with SUMIF, lookup and pivot table functions would be helpful)
Excellent organisational, administration and planning skills combined with the ability to multi-task and prioritise as required
