Conveyancing Administration Manager
Bognor Regis
Full‑Time / Permanent
Salary
£45,000–£50,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage a team of conveyancing assistants and case handlers
* Handle HR duties such as staff appraisals and recruitment/on‑boarding, with support from an external Employment Solicitor
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, solicitors, estate agents, and stakeholders
* Review and approve correspondence and legal documents
* Allocate workloads and prioritise tasks across the team
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policies
* Conduct file reviews and audits to maintain compliance standards
* Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
* Train, mentor, and support team members in conveyancing practice and compliance requirements
* Handle complex or escalated conveyancing and compliance matters
Skills and Experience
* Proven managerial experience
* Strong understanding of compliance requirements within a legal or property environment
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management systems
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
