We arelooking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly and progressive GMS practice,Brig Royd Surgery, in the heart of Ripponden. We arelocated in the beautiful Ryburn Valley, between Manchester and Leeds (junction22 of the M62) and we provide high quality care to over 10600 patients frompurpose-built premises.
We offer acompetitive salary, professional indemnity fees paid, 6 weeks annual leavepro-rata and 1 week study leave pro-rata.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will beemployed by the practice to undertake general medical services forpatients in accordance with the practice policies and protocols.
The role will be that of asalaried General Practitioner responsible to the Partners for the provision ofspecific services to registered patients of the practice and such temporaryresidents as may be accepted by the practic

Provide NHS general medicalservices to the practices patient population
Make professionallyautonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems
Respond to medicalproblems presented by patients including history taking, examination,investigation, treatment and referral when appropriate
Review patients withundifferentiated and undiagnosed problems and make assessments of their healthcare needs
Provide appropriatepreventative healthcare and advice within the context of primary care
Provide additionalservices, including contraception, minor surgery, immunisations, maternity andchild health surveillance, if appropriately qualified
Comply with the practicespolicies and procedures
Adhere to the WestYorkshire Integrated Care Board (WYICB) guidance on treatment protocols anddrug formulary
Consult with patients insurgery and at home visits
Record data on theclinical system to agreed standards
Maintain patient recordsin accordance with the practice policy on record keeping
Undertake administrativeand non-clerical duties needed for the delivery of general/personal medicalservices
Undertake oncall sessionsfor on the day emergencies.
UndertakeEnhanced Access sessions on rotation.
To work in accordance withthe practice and WYICB, Clinical Governance Policy Framework
