Sessional Lecturer - GCSE Computer Science and BTEC First Award in Information and Creative Technology

The School of Foundation, Intermediate Learning & Employability at Kingston College are seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach GCSE Computer Science and BTEC First Award in Information and Creative Technology. The role will commence in August 2025. These students are on either ESOL Level 1 Horizons course or the full time GCSE Course.
You will develop and implement student assessment strategies in accordance with college policies and the requirements of awarding bodies and participate fully in professional development including lesson observation, undertaking of training or re-training and the acquisition of essential qualifications. You will be an active course team member and participate fully in meetings, in-service training sessions, etc. in addition to teaching and administrative responsibilities and keep up to date with Quality Improvement initiatives and to be aware of, and meet, service standards for the school.
We would like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject, hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and have excellent teaching skills in Computer Science with recent and relevant continuous professional development.
