Job Purpose And Scope
Assist the internal trades site manager in the co‑ordination and control of the onsite construction process, ensuring the site build progresses in line with the plan.
Accountabilities And Key Tasks
* Be involved in the overall programming and planning of the build.
* Assist the site manager in maintaining progress on site in accordance with the contract programme.
* Oversee elements of work as directed by the site manager to ensure safe execution.
* Attend site meetings as requested.
* Provide information for progress reports if requested.
* In the absence of the Site or Project Manager, chair and take minutes of the subcontractor meetings.
* Report to the Site or Project Manager regarding progress.
* Assist the Site Manager in preparing each element of the works an Inspection and Test Plan and ensuring its requirements are achieved.
* Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety requirements.
* Be fully conversant and comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
* Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials.
* Assist the Site Manager in ensuring the following records are maintained on site: Diary, Drawing Register, Health & Safety Records, COSHH Assessments, As Built Drawings, Levels & Foundation Records, Site Health & Safety File.
