You will work alongside passionate bright minds and support the construction of the Turbine Hall for Units 1 and 2 at Hinkley Point C as a Construction Project Manager on site.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Contract & Administrative Support
o Monitor contractual obligations in coordination with the Construction Manager and Contract Manager.
o Prepare, support and track contractual correspondence, variations, claims, non‑conformities, and formal notifications.
o Manage project documentation in support of execution teams (procedures, drawings, reports, quality files).
o Support preparation for internal and external audits.
* Project Coordination & Interface
o Act as the daily interface between site teams, all project functions, subcontractors, and project partners.
o Deal with client on interface, progress, reporting, and road‑blocker issues.
o Prepare and participate in coordination meetings, planning reviews, and project performance discussions.
o Consolidate and communicate key information (progress, risks, deviations).
o Develop and streamline processes to meet site challenges.
* Reporting & Analysis
o Produce weekly and monthly progress reports including KPIs, risks, and cost/schedule deviations.
o Monitor project trends and propose corrective actions when required.
o Maintain dashboards and project monitoring tools with SQDC approach (Safety, Quality, Delivery & Costs).
* Administration & Financial Follow‑up
o Prepare inputs for invoicing, cost tracking, and subcontractor payments.
o Support procurement: purchase requests, commitments, order follow‑up.
o Contribute to budget monitoring with the project teams.
Competencies
* Proven experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure project management.
* Strong understanding of contract management (EPC, subcontracting, variations).
* Proficiency in reporting tools and document management.
* Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and quality aspects on industrial sites.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
* Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a cross‑functional, multi‑cultural, and international environment.
* Rigor, ability to prioritize, and adapt to time‑constrained environments; proficiency in planning management.
* Experience or knowledge in the nuclear industry or on a power plant site is a plus.
* Language: English (fluent).
