The Imaging Support Worker team is an essential part of our Radiology Department. You will be responsible for the effective transportation of patients from the wards to the Radiology Department and assisting with patient care within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing safe transportation and patient support for all patients coming to Radiology.
2. Assisting clinical team members in the examination room, including helping with patient movement, chaperoning, and supervision.
3. Helping patients change before and after examinations.
4. Ensuring patient care, including personal hygiene and assistance with toileting.
5. Maintaining tidy and welcoming patient changing and waiting areas.
Candidate Requirements:
* Good communication skills and experience dealing with the public.
* Flexibility, organisation, and ability to work as part of a team.
* Energetic, keen, and willing to learn.
