JOB TITLE - Learning Support Assistant
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Primary LSA for a lovely Primary school in Harrow, HA0. The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

* Position - Learning Support Assistant
* Type of work - Teaching Assistant - Supporting SEN Children on a 1:1 basis within a Primary School.
* Start date - September 2025
* Duration - 2 terms until end of the academic year July 2025
* End date - July 2025
* Contract type - Contract
* Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Mon - Fri (term time only)
* Salary - Minimum rate £85 per day
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support for SEN children within a Primary School setting.
* Distribute and support targeted learning activities under the guidance of class teachers.
* Support inclusive practices and aid classroom management as required by the senior leadership team.
Qualifications and requirements
* Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 classroom experience in the UK.
* Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year.
* Hold Right to Work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years.
