RoBo Canteen and Bar opened in 2020 and is already a cult favourite in Falmouth. The restaurant is the second Cornish restaurant set up by Chef Will Gould, who worked with some of the top chefs in London and Australia and wanted to bring his love of Japanese and south east Asian foods to Cornwall. RoBo is a casual dining experience with an aim to be both family friendly and a great spot to get a drink in the evenings, sitting out on the terrace next to the harbour. The takeaway also makes it popular with students.
After an extremely successful first few years, the team behind RoBo has big plans for continued growth and investment in the business and with our second site opening in Newquay imminently, we're looking to build a senior leadership team that will grow with the company. A great restaurant manager is critical for this growth.
As the restaurant manager you will play a pivotal role at RoBo, responsible for overseeing all Front of House management, ensuring great customer service as well as a managing a team of waiting and bar staff.

Your Role:
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while maintaining our high standards of service. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading & motivating the team to deliver top-tier customer service
Managing stock control, cash handling, and premises security
Ensuring cleanliness & organisation throughout the restaurant
Providing guidance & training to staff, fostering a positive workplace
Contributing to our social media presence, helping to promote our restaurant, special offers, and behind-the-scenes content
Who We're Looking For:
Previous hospitality experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong team management and motivational skills
A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering great service
Excellent organisational & time-management skills
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) is a big plus – if you enjoy capturing great content, engaging with customers online, and showcasing what makes us special, we'd love to see your creativity
Working Hours:
Full-time, with shifts typically ranging from 10 to 12 hours
