Job Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer - Building Services / Operational Assets Location: Manchester Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity We're looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a specialist building services consultancy and strengthen their growing Operational Assets team in Manchester. This position is ideal for a Chartered, or soon-to-be Chartered, engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges in existing buildings and delivering sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. You'll work with a broad range of clients across commercial offices, residential developments, healthcare facilities, education estates, industrial and retail properties, helping them improve building performance and move towards net zero carbon targets. The role combines hands-on mechanical design, property consultancy, and strategic advice, making it varied and rewarding.
