Salary - £28k dependent on experience - Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

Then this could be the job for you! We’re on the lookout for a Retail Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team at Head Office in Christchurch, Dorset. This role focuses on driving engaging store and retail marketing activity across our nationwide network.
You’ll be working for the UK’s biggest hobbies and craft retailer with over 100 stores and a strong and developing retail presence. This is a fast paced and creative environment, where you will need strong self-awareness, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the flexibility to face challenges and adapt plans as they arise.
About The Role
This role will focus on developing, co-ordinating, and implementing retail marketing initiatives including our in-store POS programme. You’ll work closely with the Brand Marketing Lead, key agencies, and cross-functional teams including Trade, Merchandising, and Operations, to ensure flawless delivery of retail campaigns.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong grounding in Retail Marketing, who is ready to take on more ownership and drive initiatives end-to-end from briefing to execution. You’ll also contribute to other channels within the Retail Marketing mix, including store events, in-store brand partnerships, and local community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Campaign Delivery
* Co-ordinate retail marketing communications activity including (but not limited to) all POS store requirements from agency co-ordination, design approval, briefing, production, to in-store implementation
* Liaise with our in-house print management agency to ensure timelines are met and projects are delivered to brief and within the planned budget
* To plan and deliver the in-store radio and TV screen advertising service, including briefing, creative management, production and scheduling
* Day-to-day management of the POS budget, ensuring all spending aligns with forecasts and delivers maximum value
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Liaise with key stakeholders to form briefs and deliver the requirements for all POS projects
* Organise the POS request system in close collaboration with Operations, Area Managers, and stores
Store Communications
* Collaborate with key stakeholders within the marketing team to deliver our internal marketing store communications on a weekly basis
Contribution to broader Retail Marketing campaigns and projects
* Support any adhoc store event activity with additional support including (but not limited to) store events, in-store brand partnerships, and local community outreach
* Support on new growth store/concession partnership opportunities.
* Organise and deliver in-store events/product demonstrations, and other initiatives to drive footfall and enhance customer experience
* Provide marketing research for store-lead initiatives, following industry trends and standards
General & Ad Hoc Marketing Support
* Take on additional performance marketing initiatives as needed, with opportunities to grow into a broader marketing role over time
Requirements
* Min. 1–2 years of Marketing experience (retail preferred)
* Highly motivated and results-driven individual, with demonstrated success in managing or launching marketing campaigns
* Familiarity with print media
* Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive internal and external relationships
* A proactive self-starter who’s excited by performance-driven growth and retail innovation
