We are seeking experienced Principal Mechanical Engineers to lead on a series of high-profile projects across multiple international locations, which include:
* Data centres and mission critical facilities
* Infrastructure projects
* Large-scale industrial facilities
Essential requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
* Experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large-scale industrial facilities.
* Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
* Experience in leading and managing the production and delivery of all aspects of mechanical design as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
* Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
* Thorough understanding of mechanical technical design for all RIBA stages. Including carrying out calculations, strategy development, project coordination, controls and commissioning, H&S and risk management and technical design delivery.
* Experience in training and mentoring engineers.
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Proficiency in mechanical calculation software.
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards chartership.
Beneficial skills:
* Experience in project financial management, administration and fee bids.
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks.
* Experience in Design & Build (D&B) projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery
