Location Overview:
Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London’s greenest boroughs. Here you’ll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
* Support the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation.
* Implement optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts.
* Conduct and coordinate quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness.
* Perform QA activities including executing controls, managing cases, and reporting results.
* Identify areas for testing automation, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching to enhance QA success.
* Support regulatory exams, internal audits, and other reviews by researching and evaluating relevant data for governance and reporting.
Skills Required:
* Experience in controls management, issue management, and project management.
* Knowledge of monitoring, surveillance, testing, and quality assurance, especially in trade and credit contexts.
* Risk management skills, including risk identification and mitigation.
* Strong analytical thinking and understanding of business controls.
* Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in financial services is essential.
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
