Overview
Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services, is currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Leeds, UK. This permanent, full-time role is critical within the data centre sector, contributing to the execution of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Attending project start-up meetings to understand all project specifications and details
* Managing technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and approved
* Raising and managing Requests for Information (RFIs)
* Tracking labour and maintaining weekly progress reports, managing any changes or variations
* Liaising with main contractors and client-based site teams
* Overseeing coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
* Ensuring materials availability for project completion
* Implementing the commission plan on site and ensuring construction and commissioning programmes are in place
* Generating regular snag lists and managing the handover process
* Scheduling project specifics and coordinating with subcontractors
* Attending general site meetings and addressing action points
Job Requirements
* Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role
* Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects
* Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
* Experience in supervising teams
* Strong M&E project management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Ability to maintain detailed progress reports and manage project variations effectively
