Are you a patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
GSL Education are recruiting a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a pupil with ASD in a welcoming primary school in Pevensey, East Sussex. This flexible, day-to-day supply role offers a rewarding chance to make a real difference.
About the Role
Provide individualised 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD to help them access learning and daily routines
Adapt activities and resources to meet the pupil’s specific needs and learning style
Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement strategies and monitor progress
Support the development of communication, social, and behavioural skills in line with the pupil’s needs

What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting children with ASD and SEN in a school setting
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have suitable references and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply)
