I am looking to speak with qualified Pricing Actuaries for a Property Pricing Actuary position at a global (re)insurer.
Reporting to the Lead Pricing Actuary, you will partner closely with underwriters and key stakeholders to deliver robust actuarial pricing support. You will develop and maintain pricing models, perform portfolio and transactional analyses, monitor performance metrics, and provide insight to support underwriting and business strategy.
The Role -
* Develop and enhance pricing tools and models
* Conduct portfolio, segmental and trend analyses
* Monitor rate change and price adequacy metrics
* Support underwriting teams with pricing insight and training
* Contribute to business planning, regulatory reporting and committee papers
* Maintain pricing documentation and quality assurance standards
* Collaborate with Claims, Exposure Management, Reinsurance and Data teams
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
The Candidate -
* Qualified Actuary with pricing experience (specialty (re)insurance preferred)
* Strong knowledge of actuarial/statistical pricing techniques
* Understanding of reinsurance and capital considerations in pricing
* Advanced Excel skills; VBA, Python, SQL or R desirable
* Analytical, detail-oriented and commercially minded
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
Location - London or Birmingham (3 days a week in office)
Salary - up to £120,000
