Role Overview
As Health and Safety Manager, you will lead health and safety operations across a diverse and stimulating organisation. You will manage a small, dedicated team and serve as the subject matter expert, guiding senior leadership on compliance, strategy, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the health and safety function across all divisions
* Advising and influencing senior stakeholders on legal compliance and best practices
* Designing and implementing innovative safety strategies and initiatives
* Enhancing existing policies, systems, and audit processes
* Acting as the primary liaison with external authorities and regulatory bodies
This role offers a mix of office, field, and homeworking days, with travel primarily within Kent.
What We're Looking For
* A NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent)
* Proven experience developing and improving safety programmes and audits
* The ability to apply expertise across a wide range of operational activities
* Strong communication and leadership skills
