The Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary Director of Business Development & Analytics to lead the growth of our AVSEC SaaS portfolio across global markets. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep regulatory knowledge, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a proven track record in scaling SaaS solutions in regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
Drive SaaS revenue growth and market share through innovative strategies.
Expand into new markets and geographies with a robust sales pipeline.
Lead upsell and cross-sell initiatives across our SaaS product suite.
Deliver monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Sales & Tender Management
Oversee the full SaaS sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
Lead high-value negotiations and manage complex sales cycles.
Prepare and manage competitive bids and tenders for government contracts.
Identify and secure government grants and funding opportunities.
Regulatory & Industry Expertise
Maintain deep knowledge of AVSEC regulations
Build relationships with regulators and strategic partners
Translate regulatory mandates into actionable training solutions.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Use data insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
Report performance metrics and revenue forecasts to the executive team.
Marketing & Communications
Collaborate with marketing to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
Support content creation for campaigns, webinars, and thought leadership.
Represent the company as a brand ambassador at key events.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years in SaaS sales/business development.
5+ years in AVSEC training with regulatory expertise.
Proven success in scaling SaaS in regulated industries.
Experience with ICAO Annex 17, UK 6x6, and EU standards.
Skills & Attributes
Strong proposal development and public sector compliance experience.
Expertise in data analytics and revenue forecasting.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
Security & Compliance
Must pass a Background Check (CRC) and Counter Terrorism Check (CTC).
Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
Must be eligible for UK SC level security clearance.
