<div><p>Woking Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) is offering a part‑time, fixed‑term (12 months) Assistant Psychologist role. The position requires therapeutic experience within mental health services, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.</p><p>CMHRS supports adults aged 18+ with complex, severe, and enduring mental health difficulties. The multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, nurses, and psychiatrists, with care guided by recovery‑oriented principles.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Deliver CBT‑based group interventions and one‑to‑one low‑intensity psychological interventions.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate psychological interventions under the supervision of a senior psychologist, working in a variety of settings.</li><li>Co‑facilitate psychology groups.</li><li>Collaborate with service users, carers, families and staff to implement the care plan devised by the psychologist.</li><li>Take appropriate and immediate action to keep people safe in a crisis or safeguarding situation, reporting back to a senior colleague promptly.</li><li>Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and locality psychology meetings.</li><li>Participate in local and cross‑trust networking with other Assistant Psychologists.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Requirements</h3><ul><li>Therapeutic experience in a mental health setting.</li><li>Team player with strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Valid driving licence; access to a car or motorcycle for community‑based work at all times.</li><li>Willingness to undertake reasonable adjustments for disability if required.</li></ul><p>Equal opportunities statement: All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
