Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
* Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
* Invoice Processing: Manage the processing of supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
* Expense Management: Oversee employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Assistance with Audits: Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
* Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required.
* Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide support with various accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
* Education: A degree in Accountancy and Finance, AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
* Experience: Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably within a similar industry.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
* Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
* Organisational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills

Requirements
