Are you an experienced automotive professional seeking a dynamic leadership opportunity within a leading retail branch? We are recruiting for an Assistant Branch Manager to join a thriving Edinburgh West branch where your skills and experience can make a real impact. As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will take on responsibility for supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring sales targets are met while maintaining high standards of customer service and branch presentation. This role is ideal for someone with a background in vehicle parts sales, supervisory skills, and a mechanically minded approach. Prior experience in similar environments is essential, along with a full UK driving licence.

8. Realistic on target earnings of £39,000 per year
9. 33 days holiday including bank holidays
10. Monday to Friday working hours from 9am to 5pm

Duties:
13. Support the Branch Manager in the daily running of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service
14. Assist in managing and motivating the branch team to meet and exceed sales and service goals
15. Actively promote and sell parts and associated products within set pricing structures
16. Ensure the branch presentation is always professional, clean, well-stocked, and secure
17. Manage stock levels, stock takes, and deliveries accurately and efficiently
18. Assist in training new staff members and identify training needs
19. Respond to alarm call outs as a key holder and operate necessary equipment including a forklift truck
20. Uphold the company's brand image and ensure health and safety policies are followed
21. Perform additional tasks as needed to support branch operations
Requirements:
22. Previous experience in vehicle parts sales or similar retail environment
23. Proven supervision skills and confident leadership ability
24. Mechanically minded with an understanding of vehicle or trailer components
25. Full UK driving and towing licence
26. Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
27. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet targets
